The mission of the Greater Linden Development Corporation is to improve the quality of life in the Greater Linden Community through housing and economic development, planning, coordinating of services, and other community-building activities.

Awards and Gratitude

place holder The annual Linden Awards and Gratitude Ceremony was created to highlight some of the exceptional achievements of Linden community members and to foster a greater sense of community and pride in the Linden area. Held in the early part of November at the Ohio Historical Society, the Awards and Gratitude Ceremony is a celebration recognizing individuals or organizations in several categories, including:

	· Beautiful Business – Small and Corporate
	· Business of the Year
	· Church of the Year
	· Handsome House Award
	· Linden Alumni Award
	· Point of Pride Award
	· Public Servant of the Year
	· Student Athlete Award
	· Student of the Year Award
	· Teacher of the Year Award
	· Youth Volunteer Award

Nominations for each of these awards are solicited from the community. To nominate someone for any of the award categories, contact GLDC at any time during the year.

The event also serves as a fundraiser for Greater Linden Development Corporation. Tickets are available for purchase starting in October. Businesses or organizations interested in sponsoring the event or individual awards should contact GLDC at 614-294-9600 or info@greaterlinden.org.
