Do you think that your Greater Linden home and yard or someone else’s deserves recognition because it always looks so nice? Here’s your chance to nominate a winner!
2007 Winner Handsome House Award

Each year, Greater Linden Development Corporation sponsors the Handsome House Award, and you are invited to nominate homes. You may nominate any home(s) in the Greater Linden area, including your own. (The boundaries for Greater Linden are Bonham Avenue to the south; Weber Road to the north; I-71 to the west; and Woodland Avenue to the east. See the map link on the About Us page if you are not sure if a house is within Greater Linden’s boundaries.)
The criteria used for determining the winner include:
- The exterior upkeep of the home
- Lawn maintenance
- Floral presentation (including shrubs and other landscaping)
- General appearance and attractiveness
You can make your nomination(s) by emailing the information requested below to info@greaterlinden.org or faxing the information to 294-9601. You can also mail the requested information to GLDC at 1410 Cleveland Avenue, Ste 1, Cols., OH 43211.
Each nominee will receive a Certificate of Recognition. The winner will be announced in the September/October issue of the Greater Linden News and posted on our website. The winner will also be recognized at the Annual Awards and Gratitude Celebration held in early November at the Ohio Historical Society.
