Mark Moorehead – Heartland Bank
Mark was born and raised on the North side of Columbus. He attended Brookhaven High School and Franklin University, majoring in accounting. While in high school, Mark started a small vending company with two gum ball machines. By the time he graduated, he had over 100 machines. Mark purchased a small candy machine company with 28 machines, and after 20 years it grew to 400 machines. He eventually sold his company to a national company and started to work for them.
After 30 years in the vending industry, Mark decided to try something else. He always wanted to work with real estate so he took a position as a Mortgage Broker. After a year, he left that company and got a job with Heartland Bank as a Loan Originator. After many years of originating loans, Mark began to process construction loans for the bank and train managers on home mortgage loans. Now, he is the Mortgage Specialist for home loans at Heartland Bank.
Mark is married and the proud father of three older boys (ages 35,
27, and 21).
